Standard Sizes

LüRa Steel Walls are now available in heights up to 7m and without the need for footings of anchoring. Even at these heights the walls retain their modularity, especially when water filled. Simply draining the water allows the walls to be moved with ease. Storage conditions should be verified by RMS before installation.

Stability / Impact Resistance

Due to the solid structural steelwork and the subsequent filling of the Walls Segments once installed, (the wall segments should be filled at least half way from above with sand or another bulk material) a very high level of stability is attained.
Laterally Couplings, serve to connect the Wall Segments to each other thus providing extra resistance against side impact and pressure from earth moving equipment.
Additional bracing within the Wall Segments provides further resistance to the impact of machinery.

LüRa Steel Walls are available in any RAL colour.

Materials

All Steel Wall Segments are manufactured from S 235 - S355 Sheet Steel.

Corrosion Resistance

Water Ingress (e.g. rain water) can escape via four holes which are located in the base plate of each Wall Segment. The Protective Coating comprises a two coat grey anti-corrosion primer. A further the wall segments can supplied with a further RAL colour finish.

Protective Coatings

We have suitable protective coatings for special requirements (e.g. salt storage).

Stability - Control Statistics

Testing Results can be provided Free of Charge demonstrating the performance of the Wall Segments in terms of Tilting and Slippage Resistance.

LüRa Steel Walls and Fire Protection

In July 2005 the LüRa Steel Walls received a fire rating classification from the DIBt Berlin in co-operation with the MPA North-Rhine/Westphalia. The fire rating was deemed to meet the requirements of DIN EN 13501-2 with EGG 90/EGG 180, according to DIN 4102-2 with F90A and/or F180A. Customers can, therefore, confidently use the LüRa Steel Walls to provide fire protection without the need for further testing, where the building specification is covered by the above standards.

The Wall Segments can be designed to be filled with water rather than sand etc. To accommodate this, each segment is specially equipped as follows:

• Additional Bracing.
• Drainage point.
• Waterproof welding.
• Prices on request
